CANCELLATION POLICY
tendrils and curls® salon requires at least 48 hours notice to cancel, reschedule, or make any changes to your appointment. A non-refundable deposit of the total cost of the service is pre-paid by credit card at the time of the appointment booking. Clients may reschedule up to 2 times from the initial appointment, without forfeiting deposits. To continue to offer first-class service and availability to our clients, we regret that multiple re-bookings are not allowed. No-shows and cancellations with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

PLEASE NOTE: This policy also applies to the canceling of additional services. If you are scheduled for more than one service during your appointment time and decide to decline a service you were scheduled for, proper notice must be given, with respect to the above mentioned time guidelines. Otherwise, you will be charged for the services you booked.

TARDINESS
We pride ourselves in offering timely, outstanding service. To that end, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We know things happen, so if you are running a few minutes behind, provided we hear from you, we can hold your appointment for 15 minutes. However, in order for us to accommodate each guest in a timely manner, we ask that you be on time for your appointments. After 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge the full cost of the services booked. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.  

PAYMENT
We accept cash and all major credit cards. Cash is the preferred method of payment for stylist gratuities. We do not accept checks. Please visit ATM machine prior to your appointment time.

CONSULTATIONS
A tendrils and curls® salon consultation is required for all first time clients. We offer complimentary consultations at the beginning of every service for existing clients, but if you feel you need something more in depth, please call us for more details. Our consultations offer valuable insight about your style goals, texture analysis and treatment. The consultation is considered an education service, and is not rebated to a future styling appointment.

GUESTS
Due to limited space and for the comfort of all clients, accompanying guests and/or children who are not being serviced are not allowed to be present in the salon or retail while the client is receiving services. 

FOOD
Outside food is strictly prohibited in the salon. Additionally, clients are not to discard any outside food trash in the salon's trash receptacles.

CHILDREN
We provide services for children age 4 and up with a parent or guardian present at all times during the service. No other children or family members who are not being serviced are allowed to be present in the salon due to space limitations and in consideration of the comfort of all of our guests. Children must be able to sit well for the service. We regret that we are unable to offer refunds if we are unable to complete a service due to the child disallowing its completion.

NOTE: It is necessary for you to be present in order to speak directly to the stylist providing services to your child to ensure that both you and your stylist are clear about the services to be provided.

REMOVAL OF PREVIOUS STYLES
All styles must be removed prior to clients’ scheduled appointment. If the stylist has to wait for a client to remove a style, a $35 late fee will be charged. In addition, as we pride ourselves in providing timely services, in the event that your own removal of your previous style takes so long that the stylist will likely be late for her next client, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge the full cost of the services booked. A style removal service is available upon request for select services. In the event that you need a previous style removed, please schedule this service when booking your appointment.

ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS, MEDICATIONS
We kindly ask that you advise us of any illness, injury or changes to your health status prior to any services to be conducted. We cannot be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information.
